Eheim Pickup Filter cartridges are the precision filter media that provide both biological and mechanical filtration for your Eheim filter. This Replacement Eheim 2012 cartridge comes as a two pack. The coarse filter pad allows useful bacteria to colonize the foam. It is advisable that you should not rinse your filter foams under ordinary tap water, since this would kill the useful bacteria and therefore jeopardize the aquarium inhabitants.
