Fluval CLEARMAX is a science grade resin designed to adsorb phosphate, nitrite and nitrate. Removal of these compounds results in crystal clear water, less odours and it reduces the maintenance of your aquarium creating ideal conditions for fish. High levels of phosphate are a common cause behind unwanted algae growth, bringing these levels done will limit this without affecting your live plants.
